Catholic-Centered Education in a Warm & Welcoming Environment
Welcome to St. Peter’s School
St. Peter’s School was established by Rev. Henry Sank in 1956 as the first Catholic school in Southern Maryland that was never racially segregated. Located in Waldorf, MD, our school cultivates spiritual growth and academic excellence by anchoring our students in Christian virtues. As a ministry of St. Peter’s Church, all aspects of our school are faithful to Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church. Classes are currently offered for pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students.
At St. Peter’s Catholic School, our faculty, staff, and school community strive to provide opportunities for all students to develop their intellectual, social, physical, moral, and spiritual growth. Our mission encompasses three dimensions: the message revealed by God, which the Church proclaims; the fellowship in the life of the Holy Spirit; and service to the Christian community and others.

“Top notch, quality Catholic education! Our oldest two children graduated from St. Peter’s and our third child attends now. Principal West and the staff are amazing; committed, effective, and faith filled!”
“St. Peter’s School is an academically rigorous school that, at the same time, provides a loving and fun environment in which all children can learn and succeed. Our family sends all four of our children to St. Peter’s and all of our children are thriving!”
“This is the best school in the area. They care for each and every child and they have helped my child become so successful in high school. She loves this school.”
