Mr. West graduated from Missouri Western University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1981. He entered the Marine Corps upon graduation and spent 21 years as a helicopter pilot. In 2002, he earned his Master’s degree in education and began his teaching career. In 2009, he earned his Master’s degree in educational leadership and became the principal of St. Peter’s School.

Mr. West has two adult children, and he and his wife live in King George, VA.

She has been married to her husband Mark for almost 30 years. She has two children, Allie, in high school and Nick, in college. She enjoys cooking and practicing her Catholic faith.
